Róisín Dubh Comedy presents
Comedy KARLnival with KARL SPAIN & friends
Tuesday September 11th (and every Tuesday) at Róisín Dubh
Phill Jupitus, Joe Dowlin & Sarah O'Gorman
A poet, stand-up, improviser, actor, artist, radio presenter, TV stalwart, and Róisín Dubh favourite Phill Jupitus has many strings to his bow. He first became famous when he started as team captain on BBC2’s pop quiz Never Mind The Buzzcocks in 1996, a position he held for 19 years. Aside from Buzzcocks and live stand up shows all over the UK, Phill also appears as a regular guest on QI (BBC2) and Alan Davies As Yet Untitled (Dave), and in 2012 returned to television stand-up for the first time since 2000 with an appearance on Live at the Apollo (BBC1). His live shows are legendary for his ability to drag laughs out of the chaos of his own life and the uncertain world that surrounds it.
