Ireland's most controversial stand up comedian, comic writer and actor,
(Star of RTE’s SAVAGE EYE) is coming to the Róisín Dubh on Tuesday December 29th for a special one off 'anti Christmas' show.
“..a comedic force...a riotous evening and a thoroughly entertaining show….” entertainment.ie
McSavage’s precision based jibes combined with the air that he hates himself as much as any of his targets makes for a compelling performance.
Best known as the man behind the multi award winning satirical TV show 'The Savage Eye' which ran for 5 seasons and which is repeated ad infinitum on RTE 2, David has become known as 'the enfant terrible of Irish Comedy' (Irish Times).
No other comic in the country polarises opinion as much as McSavage, but love him or loathe him, there is no doubting the mark he has made on the Irish Comedy landscape.
An accomplished actor, he recently appeared in John Michael McDonagh's 2014 movie 'Calvary' alongside Brendan Gleeson, Chris O Dowd and Dylan Moran and earlier this year he took the lead role in the Martin McDonagh hit play, The Pillowman at the Town Hall Theatre in Galway.
Expect sharp contributions from the 'Bull Mick' and his homophobic ranting against 'QUARES' and lampooning of such sacred cows as Pat Kenny, Joe Duffy and 'rahoo, rahoo, rahoo'..the bould Hector.
It's the perfect Xmas present for those in your life who aren't really that into Christmas.
