The Pajama Men are Mark and Shenoah from Albuquerque, New Mexico and they do sketch comedy. I guess. I mean, its sketch, definitely, but it rambles and sweeps along in such a freeform and goddamn hilarious manner that it bears little resemblance to the low grade ruckus that generally passes for sketch comedy in this day and age. They rightfully won the Barry Award for best in the Festival in Melbourne in 2009 (That's like the Australian Perrier Award) and best of the Fest in Sydney the same year.
Their shows are manic, unpredictable, physical and wonderfully simple. Reliable and highly recommended.
They make their Galway debut with their new show In The Middle Of No One, which is getting great reviews in Australia right now. They stop off In Roisin Dubh for two nights en route to Edinburgh for these exclusive irish shows.
