This week’s installment of the funnies from Roisin Dubh features Tedfest’s “Toilet Duck Award” Winner ‘15 Paul Marsh, Internet sensation Enya Martin (Giz A Laugh) and from GMIT Comedy Soc, Cathal Shanagher who was runner-up in this year’s “Show Me The Funny” competition.

Enya Martin
, writer, creator, and comedian is best known for her very popular Facebook page “Giz a laugh”, which has over 260,000 followers world wide and this number is growing constantly. From the huge success of her online videos, she has made the transition to live comedy with ease. Enya’s stand up is a journey of sharp observations with a keen ear on life’s trials and tribulations, mayhem and the ups and downs of relationships.

In 2017, Enya sold out all her theatre shows including a show with Rory’s Stories at Vodafone Comedy Carnival and in 2018 she has already performed two sold out shows at Dublin’s Vicar Street with a third added in June.

Treat yourself go on, giz a laugh .

Despite making a later in life arrival to comedy than most, Paul Marsh has made up for his late start by making a massive impact on the Irish comedy scene. Paul wasted no time and rapidly racked up winners trophies in some of Ireland's premier new comedy competitions, winning both the Tedfest Toilet Duck Award 2015 and the Capital Comedy Club Competition in Dublin.

Paul followed up his truly impressive start by going to support some of the biggest name in Irish comedy including Karl Spain, PJ Gallagher and Neil Delamere. He has now been performing regularly at all the Irish comedy clubs for over 6 years as well as being a Kilkenny Cats Laughs and Vodafone Comedy Carnival regular. Paul is now one of the most in demand acts in Ireland and increasingly in the UK.
