After meeting and forming in 2006, Music for dead birds have been fine-tuning their sound on tape and stage.
Constant home recording sessions have seen the folk-pop duo collect an entire body of almost one hundred songs.
Their live shows are often energetic and they have so far shared the stage with the likes of Lite, Angus & Julia Stone, tenpastseven, The ghostwood project, Super extra bonus party and House of cozy cushions as well as playing a live set on “An Taobh Tuthail” (Rnag) from the Roisin Dubh and taking part in the 2007 Bell, Book and Candle festival.
