Pierre Bensusan’s style has been described as “a signature vocabulary” that incorporates elements of Celtic music, American folk, Middle Eastern music, Latin and Jazz.” His live performance is “a must have experience” Los Angeles Times and “An Orchestra of One.. absolutely stunning” The Kent Messenger.

Brought up in Paris, Pierre Bensusan began playing music at age 7. Formal studies on the piano were quickly followed by self taught guitar. By 17 his first album “Pres de Paris” won the Grand Prix du Disque at the Montreux Festival. Pierre’s professional career is legendary. International tours and innovative recordings have established him as, in the words of pianist George Winston “one of the truly gifted musicians of our time – he plays the guitar as if it were the very soul of himself.” Leo Kottke describes: “Pierre’s music gives me the shakes …sophistication, accessiblility and downright joy…his music only needs ears to be enjoyed” and singer songwriter Suzanne Vega adds “Pierre’s music is a true inspiration.”
