Kid Karate are a two-piece grime-punk band from Dublin comprising of Kevin Breen (guitar/synth/vocals) and Steven Gannon (drums/percussion). Their music has been described as gritty, raw and brutal; dwelling somewhere within the wastelands between the fuzzy blues of The Black Keys, the danceability of The Rapture and the aggression of Queens of the Stone Age.

The band?s musical asthetic is built around Breen?s atypical howl, a voice discovered out of necessity in a shed in a Dublin suburb, where microphones don?t exist. Gannon?s furious drumming style and dance-driven beats unite with Breen?s frantic musicianship and ballsy vocals, enabling the pair to create music that is intoxicating and catchy at the fore.
