Jinx Lennon is the epitome of modern folk singer but influenced by Mark E Smith, Wu Tang Clan, and Iggy instead of the Furey Bros.He recently released ''National Cancer Strategy'' and 'Hungry Bastard Hibernia'' albums two hellish roller coaster rides through suburban tales of Irish life .New York's The Village Voice newspaper described Jinx an 'Irish talisman'.Previously the subject of an Arts/Lives documentary ''Noisemaker'' on RTE TV and a regular at The Electric Picnic he recently toured Scotland converting new fans fervent to his cause,had a monstrous theatre show in Galway Theatre Festival last year called ''Man V Energy Vampire behold this S-S-Self Indulgence Gene ''.He recently composed the soundtrack to upcoming movie ''The Ballad of Honky Mc Swain'' written by writer Pat Mc Cabe and Welsh director Kevin Allen maker of '' Twin Towns'' starring Rhys Ifans .A documentary about Jinx and his work by Kevin Mc Cann will be broadcast on National Radio in october .
